# Buk

**Buk** is a comprehensive human resources and payroll management software designed to streamline HR processes for businesses. It offers features such as employee management, payroll automation, attendance tracking, and performance evaluation, helping companies manage their workforce efficiently.

## Authorize Connection to Buk

### In Buk
To authorize your Buk account, you will need **an API key** (= {{glossary.API token}}).
1. In your Buk account, navigate to the **Settings (Configuración)** page.
2. Continue to the **API Access (Accesos API) ** section.
4. Click on **Create a new API key (Crear nueva API Key)**.
5. Name the API key for easier identification (e.g. Dataddo), and configure the permissions.
6. Create your new **API Key**, click the eye icon to display and copy the value.
  
### In Dataddo
1. On the **Authorizers** page, click on [Authorize New Service](https://app.dataddo.com/service/new){target="_blank"} and select Buk.
2. Provide your Buk **API Key**.
3. Rename your ***{{glossary.authorizer}}*** for easier identification and click on **Save**.
