Versioning the data source
Editing some parameters of the source (like metrics, dimensions, date range...) may affect the operation of you downstream systems (e.g. data warehouse or dashboards). The recommended approach is to create another version of the source by the following steps:
- Navigate to the given source, click on three dots icon and choose Clone Settings.
- You will be redirected to the connector with preloaded settings matching the source you are cloning.
- Add / Edit any parameters that you need.
- Make the original source inactive.
- Replace the old source in your flows.
