# Kustomer

**Kustomer** is a customer service CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform designed to streamline and personalize customer interactions across multiple channels. It offers a unified view of customer data, empowering businesses to deliver exceptional support experiences and build long-lasting relationships.

## Authorize Connection to Kustomer

### In Kustomer
To authorize your Kustomer account, you will need **an API key** (= {{glossary.API token}}).
1. In your Kustomer account, navigate to the **Settings** page and continue to **API Keys**.
2. Click on **Add API Key**. Name your API key and select one or more roles.
3. [Optional] Set API key expiry date or restrict access to the key using the CIDR IP Restriction box.
4. Create the **API Key** and copy the value. Keep in mind that the value will be displayed only once.
 
### In Dataddo
1. On the **Authorizers** page, click on [Authorize New Service](https://app.dataddo.com/service/new){target="_blank"} and select Kustomer.
2. Fill in the following fields:
    1. **API Key**: Your Kronos API token.
    2. **Region**: Your account's area.
3. Rename your ***{{glossary.authorizer}}*** for easier identification and click on **Save**.
