# Quick Start

**Welcome to your first step with Dataddo!**
This quickstart guide is designed to provide you with all the information you need to effortlessly get your data flowing.

**Follow our series of quickstart tutorials to dive right in:**
1. Start by [creating a data source](/docs/creating-a-data-source) to select what data you want to extract.
2. Next, [connect a data destination](/docs/how-to-connect-a-data-destination) where you want to send your data. (You can skip this step if you want to use a dashboarding app!)
3. Finally, [create a data flow](/docs/how-to-create-a-data-flow) to send your data to the chosen destination.

**[Optional step]** Before starting, you can explore our [core concepts](/docs/core-concepts) to familiarize yourself with the terms used commonly used in Dataddo, however, all these can be easily understood from our tutorial as well!

## And What Does 'Dataddo' Mean?

'Dataddo' (pronunciation [dā'tədu]) is a portmanteau word that blends 'data' and 'Addo', a word from Latin meaning, add, insert, bring/attach to.
