We're kicking off the year with many exciting connector improvements!

In this release, we’ve greatly expanded our connector catalog. One such addition is Oracle, which enables direct integration with one of the most widely used enterprise databases. This makes it easier for users to connect and manage data between Oracle systems and other platforms. Combined with the Kafka connector introduced in the last release, which supports real-time data streaming (especially useful for organizations needing to process and transfer large volumes of data in real time!), this update enhances our offering for enterprise clients, allowing them to efficiently process and transfer their data.

We've also focused on enhancing the user experience by refining the connector and dataset selections to ensure you get the most relevant information at a glance, making it easier than ever to find the right options for your needs.

Connector Updates:

• App Store Connect Sync: New schema was created to accommodate the newly added Campaign metric.
• Google Analytics 4: Cohorts loading is now supported, allowing users to analyze grouped user behavior over time for better insights.
• Meta Connectors (Facebook and Instagram): The following metrics have been deprecated: email_contacts, profile_views, text_message_clicks, website_clicks, get_directions_clicks, phone_call_clicks.
  • All sources have been updated on our end, no further action is required from you. For more information on the metrics deprecation, refer to Meta’s official documentation.
• Odoo: Added two new fields to the Models and Columns step for enhanced data filtering:
  • Date Range Field: Allows users to filter data by a selected date field (e.g., Created On or Last Updated On).
  • Custom Filter: Enables users to apply advanced filtering conditions for special data loading cases, giving advanced users greater flexibility to include data from more than one company (operation).
    • Example: The filter [['id', '=', 1]] will return the record(s) where the company ID field is equal to 1. For more companies,
      
• Zoho: Added support for Notes as a writing option, allowing users to write data directly into Zoho Notes.

UX/UI Enhancements

Connector Cleanup

As part of our ongoing connector and dataset user experience enhancement journey, we’ve already completed the first steps: checking all datasets for sensitive data and ensuring each field is correctly marked with the appropriate data type.

In the next phase, we’re moving on to the connector cleanup, which includes two key improvements.

First, connectors will be renamed and reorganized to better reflect their purpose. This will be especially important for services with multiple connectors, like Facebook and Google as the difference between connectors can be often confusing.

Second, datasets will be:

• Organized logically for better clarity
• Verified to ensure they contain all essential data
• Equipped with clear descriptions that accurately reflect the data they hold

The first phase of this cleanup focuses on the 20 most used connectors, including Google My Business, YouTube, LinkedIn Organic, and Google Search Console, all of which have already been updated and are ready for you to explore.

Bug Fixes

Google & Display Video 360:

• The issue with the daily query limit for the API has been resolved by adjusting the number of calls made. Additionally, the problem with duplicated fields has been fixed.

LinkedIn Organic:

• An unexpected Undefined array key 'url' warning issued when using the LinkedIn Organic Loader has been fixed. This issue was caused by an incorrect migration script in MongoDB that did not account for sources created using the already updated connector.

Microsoft Ads:

• An issue where user and campaign IDs were not displayed when attempting to create a Microsoft Ads source has been resolved.

Netsuite:

• A problem with SuiteQL, where it failed to extract data when manually defining the fields to be extracted from specific tables, has been fixed.

Odoo:

• Resolved an issue where fields with the selection_type data type were returned empty by adding support for scalar data types (string, boolean, double, float, etc.).
• Repeated model names, which appeared identical despite referring to different models, have been addressed by adding the model name in the UI to provide a clear distinction.
• A duplicated data issue was found to be caused by a bug in Odoo’s pagination, which was immediately solved by loading additional values.
  • If you encounter this issue, please use the newly added date range field to filter your data. We recommend using Last Updated On, which will be set as the default once the frontend team deploys a bug fix.
• An issue causing Traceback (most recent call last) error message was found to most likely be by the Needed Terms Dirty field. If you encounter this error, we recommend deselecting this field from the column selection. This issue likely stems from an incorrect data type on Odoo’s side, as the field contains multiple values.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud:

• Incorrect snapshot date format, which was previously displayed as dd/m/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM and has now been corrected to yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss.
• Issues with missing column keys, incorrect data types, and broken source cloning have all been fixed.
