# Taboola

**Taboola** is a content discovery and native advertising platform that connects advertisers with publishers to promote content and products. It operates by recommending sponsored content on various websites to engage audiences and drive traffic to advertisers' sites.

Refer to our website for [the list of metrics and attributes available in Dataddo](https://www.dataddo.com/connector/taboola).

Refer to Taboola's official documentation to see [all available endpoints from the Taboola API](https://developers.taboola.com/backstage-api/reference/welcome#campaign-summary-fixed-columns).

## Limitations

### Number of Rows

The Taboola API allows by default the extraction of up to **500,000 rows** per call. Increase the limit manually by editing the URL in the Source Advanced Settings (go to Sources - Cling on the three dots next to the source - Edit - Advanced Settings-URL). The very last number of the URL defines the limit.

### Data Delay

Due to performance limitations, Taboola data may experience delays of up to **3 hours**.

### Historical Data Limitation

The Taboola API allows you to extract data up to **3 years** per call. If you have older data, load it in multiple batches.

## Troubleshooting

### Data Preview Unavailable

No data preview when you click on **Test Data** might be caused by an issue with your ***source*** configuration. The most common causes are:

- **Date range**: Try a smaller date range. You can load the rest of your data afterward via [manual data load](https://docs.dataddo.com/docs/data-backfilling).
- **Insufficient permissions**: Please make sure your authorized account has at least admin-level permissions.

Authorizers act as credentials for external services (e.g. Facebook or Google). To enable Dataddo to access and retrieve your data, you need to grant access to accounts that possess admin-level permissions or higher within these services.
