Available Metrics

Dataddo can extract all the metrics provided via an official API. The full list is available here.

NOTE:

The connector does not include every metric available in the API. We are releasing new fields weekly. If you are missing an important metric, contact us.

Different Date Range

Depending on the Dimension and Report Type, the Data Range may vary significantly, therefore when configuring the connector, take into consideration:

  • If Time Dimension contains stat_time_day, the query time range cannot exceed 30 days, and when dimensions contain stat_time_hour, the query time range cannot exceed 1 day.
  • If no time dimension is chosen for or Report Types basic, audience, and playable, it should be possible to have access to older data.

For Audience Report, the latency time is between 6-12 hours. We recommend to keep the date range until YESTERDAY.

Limitations

Metric and ad recall data may not match

The problem with reach and ad recall metrics is that these metrics cannot be simply summed to get the totals for longer periods. The reason for this is that these metrics are measuring the daily unique users, who either see your ad (reach) or will remember the ad (ad recall). It is not possible to get data for a specific period and keep aggregating them.

  1. One option is to get the daily breakdown and then the daily values will match, but not when summing over more days.

  2. The second solution is to get the data weekly or monthly and again, these weekly/monthly values will match TikTok exactly.

    1. The way to achieve this is to create a new source and then a new flow with the particular breakdown (for example, source and flow with daily breakdowns/synchronizations)

Read more about the metrics, why the data may not be matching here.

Troubleshooting

Broken View / Error Message

If you cannot see a preview of your data, go back a few steps and check your setup. The most common causes are:

  • Date range - we recommend a smaller date range. If you need to load historical data, check our guide.
  • Invalid metrics, attributes or breakdowns, or their combination - you may not have any values for them.
