Setting Date Range

Article Summary

When you set up a source using a connector with time-dependent data, it is possible to configure date range.

Whenever a snapshot is taken, Dataddo loads data from the time period specified by your date range. You can load data from the last couple of days, last month, last year.

For example, if you want to load data daily, set the date range to Yesterday and snapshotting frequency (i.e. automatic data synchronization period) to Daily. For monthly data load, use Last month date range and Monthly snapshotting frequency.

Example

You need to extract Facebook Ads data weekly and send it to MySQL. When creating a source, set your date range to Last 7 days and snapshotting frequency to Weekly.

Every week, a snapshot of the last 7 days' data will be taken.

Dynamic Date Range

If the date range you need is not available in the selection, you can specify a different dynamic date range in the source URL after you've created your source.

Historical Data Load

In case you need to load historical data from a specific time period (e.g. from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020), you will need to perform a manual data load.
