Dedicated SSH Tunnel Configuration Page

The settings now have a dedicated SSH Tunnels configuration page to streamline workflow and improve security management. Previously, SSH tunnel details had to be manually re-entered every time users created a new authorizer for a database connector.

Now, users can configure SSH tunnels in one centralized location on the Security page. Once saved, these tunnels are available for selection when creating new database authorizers.

This update simplifies the setup process and provides a single place for users to manage all SSH tunnel configurations.

For more information, see Secure Data Transfer with SSH Tunneling.

Team Members Page Overhaul

The Team Members page has been improved to give users more control and better security insights. Based on user feedback, we've extended the user grid with several new columns, making it easier to manage your team and monitor activity at a glance.

What's New?

  • Department & Job Title: Easily organize and filter your team members by department and job title for improved administrative control.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): See at a glance which users have MFA enabled, helping businesses and organizations enforce security policies and improve account protection.
  • Last Login Date: Get a clear overview of when each member last logged in.
  • Invalid Login Attempts: Monitor the number of failed login attempts since the last successful login, allowing users to quickly spot potential security issues.

New Facebook Paginator for More Reliable Data Extraction

We’ve developed a new, more resilient paginator for Facebook data sources to address common pagination-related errors and improve data extraction stability. Previously, if one call in a series of pagination requests failed, the entire sync would be interrupted.

The new paginator is designed for robustness. It continues processing data even if individual requests fail, ensuring that your data is extracted completely and reliably. This change is a major step toward eliminating unspecified API errors and other common extraction issues.

As it doesn’t depend on the success of a previous call, it’s now safer and recommended to use the AT_LEAST_ONE request policy.

The paginator retrieves all available data with the limit parameter controlling the batch size. If you encounter problems when extracting a large volume of data, lower the limit value.

The new paginator is currently available for the following datasets:

  • Facebook Ads: Ad Creatives
  • Facebook Organic: Page Posts

The improved paginator will be rolled out to other connectors where needed. If you encounter similar pagination-related errors with a different source, please reach out to your Account Manager so we can prioritize a solution for you.

Unification of Database Connectors

Database connectors have been unified and simplified to provide a more streamlined and consistent user experience. Instead of separate connectors for different replication methods, these options are now integrated directly into the source setup process.

For example, when setting up a PostgreSQL source, you'll now find the Log-Based Replication option directly within the connector configuration.

This unification improves clarity and makes it easier to manage your database integrations. This update has also been applied to the Oracle connector, and we are working to extend this simplified approach to MySQL and SQL Server.

UX/UI Enhancements

Account Reactivation

Reactivating Dataddo subscription is now possible in-app. If your account has been cancelled, users can now

reactivate it on their own by simply adding a new credit card directly within the user interface. This change

streamlines the process and eliminates the need to contact customer support, getting our users back to work faster.

Dataddo News Center Update

We’ve enhanced the Dataddo News Center to help users find the information they need faster. We've added an All Posts tab that centralizes all product updates, articles, and blog posts.

This new layout makes it easy to see all content in one place and apply filters to view only product updates, educational content, or blog articles.

Bug Fixes

Connector Fixes

ClickHouse:

  • Fixed an issue that prevented data extraction from legacy servers by ensuring full compatibility between Dataddo and older ClickHouse versions.

Criteo:

  • Fixed a bug that caused Sales and Revenue metrics (from the Statistics Report dataset) to not be included in the source data.

Databricks:

  • Fixed a bug that caused data extractions to fail due to a known API issue with request bodies. We have implemented a temporary fix and are actively working with Databricks to develop a permanent solution to prevent future issues.

Google Analytics:

  • Fixed a bug that was causing issues with account selection during configuration.

Google BigQuery:

  • Fixed an issue that caused Facebook Ads datasets to return an error during source creation.

Microsoft Fabric:

  • The OAuth authorization has been fixed.

Personio:

  • Fixed an issue where extractions would time out due to large data volumes by implementing pagination for custom reports, ensuring faster and more efficient data retrieval.

Postgres:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the proper listing of tables by ensuring the correct schema is passed during the listing process.

Spaaza:

  • Fixed timeouts that occurred when extracting large amounts of data.

StackAdapt:

  • Resolved an issue that incorrectly showed a source as empty, which was caused by longer-than-expected data processing times.

General Fixes

Filesystem connectors:

  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from changing the configured destination path for filesystem connectors (e.g., SFTP).

Full Data Resync Page:

  • Fixed an issue with the date range selector to properly support relative values like now and 1 day ago for filtering data.
