How to Connect Google Sheets as a Destination

Getting your data to a Google Sheets is an easy task with Dataddo. If you already have your Google account connected to Dataddo, start from Step 2 - How to Create Google Sheet Data Flow right away.
Number of cells
When sending your data to Google Sheets, be aware that Google Sheets have a limit of approximately 10 million cells.
Changing Columns or Their Order
The following actions after your flow has been created, may lead to your flow breaking:
- Reordering columns
- Changing column names
- Add columns
- Delete columns
Changing column names may be done by going to your source and clicking on the three dots. Next, navigate to the Data Types tab to rename your columns.
All actions can be executed by copying the source with JSON connector, and then editting the labels using advanced settings of the source.
Step 1 - How to Create Google Sheets Data Destination
After you sign in to your Dataddo account, go to the Destinations page and click on Create Destination in the top right corner.
From the list of destinations, choose Google Sheets.
Select the account associated with your Sheets, and name the destination. Click on Save.
If you have not authorized your Google Account, click on Authorize. You will be redirected to the sign-in page.
Step 2 - How to Create Google Sheet Data Flow
Go to the Flows page and click on Create Flow in the top right corner.
Click on Connect Your Data to add your data source.
Click on Connect Your Data Destination and select your Google Sheets destination.
Configure the destination by filling out necessary fields and rename if necessary.
Do not forget to set the synchronization time of your flow with a little delay after the synchronization of your source to allow the data to properly load.
- Check if your configuration is correct by taking a look at the Data Preview tab and click on Create Flow to save.
How to Configure Google Sheets Data Flow
All set, no further action is needed in order to configure the flow. The data will be regularly loaded into your Google Sheets.
Where to Find the New Google Sheets Data
To navigate to your newly created Google Sheets, go to flows and click on the electric plug icon next to your flow for configuration details. Click on the blue button on the pop-up to get redirected to your Google Sheets.
